Every Chartbeat user has a role which determines their level of access to your organization's data and determines which actions they can take on Chartbeat.
ROLES

Owner |
Owners are the primary managers of their Chartbeat organization. They have the highest level of permissions and are allowed additional privileges which other users do not have access to. Owners have access to all tools included in their plan, and data for all of their organization’s sites. Owners are the only users who can manage their organization’s existing site settings (e.g. change dashboard timezones). |

Admin |
Like owners, admins have access to all tools included in their plan, and data for all of their organization’s sites. They can also invite new users to their organization, manage member permissions, and promote/demote other admins. |

Member |
Members get access to sites and tools granted to them by their organization’s admins. This is the default role for all users. Learn more about managing user permissions. |

IAM Admin |
IAM stands for Identity and Access Management Admin. If you create a new user with the IAM Admin role, they will *only* have access to our SSO setup Authentication page to create the SSO integration between Chartbeat and your Identity Provider system. You may also grant IAM Admin role access to existing Member users in your organization. |
