Search Performance Metrics
Chartbeat will pull in the following metrics from Google Search Console:
Impressions | The number of times any URL from your site appeared in search results viewed by a user |
Clicks | Count of clicks from a Google search result that landed the user on your property. |
Average CTR | Click count divided by the impression count. If a row of data has no impressions, the CTR will be shown as a dash (-) because CTR would be division by zero. |
Average Position (Page Rank) | The position value in the table represents the average position in search results for the URL |
Keywords (Queries) | The specific search terms or keywords that users enter into the Google and subsequently land on your website |
For additional information on Google Search Console data, see Google Documentation.
How to connect to Google Search Console
Know Before You Install
- Only Chartbeat Admins can set up the Google Search Console integration
- User must have a company Google Search Console login with access to associated sites in order to connect and see relevant data
- Once Google Search Console is connected and sites have been selected, the associated data will be surfaced to all users on the account.
